Winter is a time to rest and reflect. It is also a time to celebrate our holidays and more importantly our Families during those holiday occasions.
Every year on Christmas Eve we have around 40 people at our home. To some that may seem a little daunting, but to us, it is a blessing. It is wonderful to be able to share those memories and have our children surrounded with such love.
While getting ready to add 2006 to our Christmas scrapbook, in 2007, I realized that I was the one taking the pictures, but not in any of them. I of course am a not a fan of my photo being taken, but it dawned on me, that I cannot eliminate myself from the events either. So last Christmas, I took the camera around and got my picture with darned near everyone! It was actually the joke of the year when I photo shared and there I was in almost every photo!
So remember yourself, and place yourself in your holiday albums, your children and grandchildren will love to look back at the photos!
